PRACTICE INFORMATION

Practice Rounds

There have been no practice round dates organised with the host venue. Please ring Aldeburgh to enquire stating you are playing in the Swifts Strokeplay event (previously known as HMC). Please bear in mind practice rounds are subject to availability and at the venue's discretion.

Aldeburgh is hosting the Dick Watson Trophy on Saturday 7th October (36 holes) and Sunday (18 holes AM) which fills the course meaning there is no opportunity for practice rounds the day before. Walking the course will be allowed after 5:00 p.m. on the Saturday afternoon only. Should players wish to play a practice round in advance of the event, Aldeburgh has kindly offered their member’s guest green fee (£40 until the end of September and £35 in October) for practice rounds which should be arranged via the office or pro shop (01728 453309).

Warm up Facilities

Aldeburgh has two nets, a chipping green and a putting green close to the 1st & 10th tees and the clubhouse. There is a short practice ground on the other side of the road from the entrance to the club but balls are not provided. Please do not hit a driver or any other club that will finish beyond the practice area as this will endanger those playing the 9 hole River Course.
